Apparently there's some confusion over the name. Who Is Syed Farook? A guy who identified himself as Syed's father said his son is a devout muslim.
$10 says they shot the wrong vehicle. Remember when the LAPD shot the wrong truck they thought belonged to Chris Dorner?
No. Shit like that happens all the time though. When the red alert goes off, cops will all too often go trigger happy.
That article was good, and it seemed to give out as much information as they probably do have, for sure. and I still wonder about the whole thing...where the people were killed was on a 2nd floor and these people went to this 2nd floor area specifically. Skipping other floors and people, targeting these people what in the world is it for absolute sure the people in the gun fight with the police are also the shooters at the party? Even as I typed that, that seems pretty ridiculous that it wouldn't be the same people.
I don't know. They said the people in the suv starting shooting at the cops and the cops returned fire...but, you know...
Lotta weird shit goes on in berdoo, criminal gangs and what not. Coulda been a mistake, and they were on the wrong side of the law too and went ballistic when the cops tried to stop them.
Hubby says he just heard some head honcho say it looks like terrorists and investigation is headed in that direction. Local radio news. I'll find some link or something in a minute.
http://www.leoaffairs.com/featured/terrorists-strike-american-soil-farooq-saeed-identified-as-suspect-in-san-bernardino-massacre/ Yeah but they didn't know anything when they posted the header to the article Terrorists strike American soil: Syed Farook identified as suspect in San Bernardino massacre fuckin cop site anyway
http://heavy.com/news/2015/12/isis-islamic-state-behind-commit-inland-regional-shooting-inland-regional-center-san-bernadino-shooting-victims-suspect-dead-attack-terrorism-terrorists/ (Twitter) Twitter accounts allegedly affiliated with the Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the shooting that left at least 14 dead in San Bernardino, California. Above a screenshot of a Twitter account with Daesh propaganda can be seen tweeting about the attack. Other Twitter accounts allegedly affiliated with the international terrorist group have also claimed responsibility. However, none of this has been verified. Law enforcement has refused to speculate at this time but the tweets are similar to those that were sent out by Islamic State affiliated accounts during the Paris attacks.
Two dead suspects have names now. Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, http://www.scpr.org/news/2015/12/02/55997/multiple-victims-reported-in-san-bernardino-shooti/
They met through the internet... Farook had traveled to Saudi Arabia and returned with a new wife he met online. The couple had a baby and appeared to be “living the American dream,” said Patrick Baccari, a food inspector who shared a cubicle with Farook.http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-syed-farook-had-traveled-to-saudi-arabia-married-appeared-to-live-american-dream-co-workers-say-20151202-story.html The two suspects killed in the SUV were in a relationship. They were "either boyfriend, girlfriend; husband and wife," said San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan. "I think that what we have seen and how they were equipped, there had to be some kind of planning in this," Burguan said. But he added that police still do not know the motive for the shooting.http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/03/us/san-bernardino-shooting/index.html The 28-year-old man, an American citizen, was accompanied by a woman police identified as Tashfeen Malik, 27. Police said the two were either engaged or already married. The couple is believed to be the parents of a six-month old baby who was reportedly staying with grandparents at the time of the attacks. The Los Angeles Times reported Farook met Malik online. She was living in Saudi Arabia at the time. It's not clear if Malik was a U.S. citizen or not.http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2015/12/who_is_syed_farook_alleged_san.html
The female is reported to be from Pakistan. Her background is being investigated. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-san-bernardino-shooting-live-updates-htmlstory.html
I heard Thomas Roberts talk about it on MSNBC. However, it did not come up at the last police press conference. I'm keeping the TV on in the corner of my office, with the sound off except when there seems to be a new development. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/san-bernardino-shooting/san-bernardino-shooting-suspects-left-baby-daughter-grandma-n473261 I really, really hope this overseas connection turns out to be trivial or a false clue, because this could lead to some serious shit all over the country between rednecks and peaceful, liberal Muslims.
Between the time I started reading the article, and posting your post got slipped in on me somehow. ;-P But for REAL...so its not the same type of vehicle?!? wth Seems to me like that changes everything I don't mean to sound unAmerican by any means...but I think they sling aroung that "terrorist" label mighty fast and loose You have nut jobs on a vengence/vendetta plot. I consider them terrorists to the people they are targeting but not to America as a country. The man on tv last night was debating or discussing whether to call it a mental health issue, and he stated that since this was done in a matter of fact, organized way and these people "had to be" experienced it would NOT be a mental health issue. I immediately thought WTH!? I disagree...just because someone plans out an attack to kill numbers of people for no observable reason and is organized and experienced assuredly does NOT indicate mental health. Sociopaths, psychopaths and/or neurotic people are almost always organized! Of course this wasn't being said by anybody for the Dept of Mental Health.
People's knee-jerk assumptions about the shooters and the motive (before any conclusive data was released) was rather astounding. Let's just say the outcome didn't fit their biases.
