That a ridiculous statement like that could be allowed to go by without condemnation in GOP circles (voters & lawmakers) is a tribute to the satire mentioned above.

Then again, the statement probably follows in a nation in which tens of millions of people allow themselves to be conned by a con man (Trump).

 

Trump was a bullsh*t artist / con man /grifter his entire life. That's why he HAD to go overseas to try to get more loans - no American bank would lend him any more money. They'd seen enough of con man Donny.

He didn't change his stripes since deciding to RUN for president and then obtaining the office by even MORE BULLSH*T slinging. The tragedy is that so many under-educated, ill-informed people LATCHED RIGHT ON to Trump's siren song and followed him like blind LEMMINGS ........................ right over the cliff. I wonder what the actual number of people is who died from Covid-19 because they listened to Trump's self-titled "genius" about how he knew more than ANY of the medical experts about corona virus. His advice to not wear masks, "go and live your lives as usual" - "go to work & school" and all his other tall tales cost many, MANY lives.

He'll HAVE to answer for all those LIES and LIVES one day - whether he believes it ........... likes it ............. or not.

MT Greene saw the numbers of people who were sucked down the BS rabbit hole and decided she was jumping on that train for political expediency / self-gain.

As much as some of these "modern-day" Republican politicians like to throw around Lincoln's name - as if to say "we're as great as he was" - Lincoln would have many of them S-H-O-T or H-U-N-G for treason. Lincoln had ethics and morals ................ today's Republicans have neither.

Greene, an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump who was elected last November, was last month removed from all of her House committee assignments following a bipartisan vote prompted by a series of controversial past remarks, including past support of pro-Trump conspiracy theories like QAnon and Pizzagate.


Although CrossFit had previously been silent about the congresswoman, the company disavowed Greene in a BuzzFeed News article on Monday.

"CrossFit supports respectful fact-based political dialogue to address our common challenges, and we strongly oppose the loathsome and dangerous lies attributed to Ms. Greene," CrossFit spokesperson Andrew Weinstein told BuzzFeed.

 

An Army combat veteran is looking to take Greene’s position away from her.
