Why? Why are they different? I think coca drugs SHOULD be legal but you should get in just as much serious shit if you fuck up while your on it.

But then again I love coke so...kind of biased...but still...I say if you legalize one drug I like then legalize them all!

I have a question. What sources do you have that prove marijuana leads to suicide? If you look up government records, many of them are available to the public and every year they put out a record on the number of deaths that occur from intoxicated people. Alcohol is responsible for over 200,000 yearly, heroin, cocaine and other hard drugs, are several thousand (I think) Tobacco related deaths number in the 1 million region, although I'm going by 2 years ago, do you know how many deaths marijuana contributed to? ZERO. Printed by the government in black and white. Zero deaths attributed to marijuana intoxication.

Oh and as for addictive, only mentally there are ABSOLUTELY NO PHYSICALLY ADDICTIVE PROPERTIES in marijuana. Hell, we have THC receptors in our brains!. Therefore, it's logical to assume that since we have receptors (coming from "reception." We have pain receptors, emotional receptors, etc. A NATURAL RECEPTOR ALREADY IN THE BRAIN) in our brains for THC (the chemical in merijuana that gets you high.) shouldn't we assume that it's just NATURAL for our bodies to absorb THC is some way? Whether it's through eating it, smoking it vaporizing it, whatever, our brains have receptors for this built in from the time we're in the womb, so don't you dare go off telling me it's "evil" It's natural. It grows from the ground.

Hemp can be woven into canvas (did you know Columbus' ship's sails were woven out of hemp?) rope (it's stronger and tougher than the rope we have now) clothing (it would form a fabric cheaper and more breathable and durable than cotton). The seeds can be made into oil or used as seasoning in foods. The leaves and buds can be used to help AIDS patients, cancer victims (it helps fight certain types of cancer) glaucoma sufferers, people with eating disorders (it's an appetite stimulant) it's a pain reliever, and mood enhancer.
You want to talk evil, leave this amazing plant alone and concentrate on the corrupt man who stole our Presidency in 2000, bought it in 2004, and is killing hundreds of thousands of our young men and women and innocent Iraqui people and children as well, while letting the man responsible for 9/11 get free for 3 1/2 years. Get your facts straight before you come in here and mouth off and judge us. 98% of the marijuana that grows wild and is burned by the government doesn't have enough THC in it to get you high, anyway. We're basically burining medicine. I bet if we burned Prozac, Zoloft, Prevacid, etc. people would be besides themselves. Well, we're burning medicine that is just as valuable. How humane.

One last question to you: You seem to be really religions is your wording. I'm wondering about Christians in Amsterdam and places where it's legal. Are they participating in a "sinful" activity? It's not against the law over there, so you can't claim they are sinning by voiding the verse that you should "obey all the laws of the land ye dwell in" So, if they're told it's OK, raised with no stigma about it and smoke it the way people here inhale ciggarettes, are they sinning too? That'd make a huge loop in your logic about it being wrong because it's "addictive" and "evil" ("The Devil")
