Marching band alarm clock

This is what I look like:



when a friggin' marching band is warming up across the street from my house at 8:30 AM on a holiday when I would have enjoyed sleeping late:



of course there were fire trucks testing their sirens too:

That sucks big time, but I have little sympathy because I was awakened at 3 AM by the damn garbage truck. It might have been 2 AM, and no more sleep for me

Seriously though, I have to say that it is kind of funny, just because it was a Marching Band.

 

The same thing happened 3 years ago also, but I was up already. The funny part was that my neighbor had to work and they closed the street for the parade and he couldn't get his car out. The folks at his workplace had a pretty hard time believing that story when he called so we took pics and sent them to them...works every time.
