Ncaa basketball tournament is goin on. I bet kentucky wins it all and is the first team since the 70s to do so undefeated
Idk I kinda wanna see them get upset by a lesser seed but it would also be kinda cool to see them go undefeated. I usually pick Duke to win it all
And now, all the teams are very good. Some very good b-ball being played. If Kentucky wins it all--they will be the first to hit 40 wins! They look good --------real good.
i was wondering how march was any more madness then any month. but i guess the op answered that with some kind of sports kahkah.
I don't know what exactly you have against folks enjoying some good basketball. You always seem to make a dismissive comment as if we are extremely light weight in our thinking because some of us enjoy watching a game we enjoyed in our youth. Would that it were, ALL disagreements in the world were settled on the fields of play.
I was pretty bummed when Iowa State got upset. A writer at SBNation actually picked ISU and Kentucky in the final.
I was disappointed when in the last few plays, Oregon threw the game away. After all--we beat Utah twice during the season. Oh well--football's around the corner. The Oregon softball team is # 2 in the nation. Since I used to be a fast pitch softball pitcher--I'm loving it.
I think Notre Dame had the best chance to knock off Kentucky. I'm now ready to predict that Kentucky will win it all, beating Duke in the final by 12. There have been a lot of really, really great games this month.
Yeah--yesterdays game was a great game ALL the way through! I was pulling for ND. Duke might have a good chance---maybe.
Yeah, if Winslow's hot streak continues, anything can happen. Okafor is good, but he's over-hyped by the media. He may have a tough transition to the NBA. It may be the only game besides volleyball that every American child (that is physically able) has played. Remember lazy PE teachers having us play basketball whenever they didn't want to be bothered with teaching us anything? At my public school, we had a lot of those days. It's like golf in that it's easy to grasp the basics, but incredibly hard to get really good at it.
Kentucky or Wisconsin. I've lived in both states. I'm rooting for Wisconsin mostly though, but I wouldn't be upset if Kentucky won.
personally i think it has more to do with rabbits and sheep. like when an alpine ram gets a wild hare up its ass.
WOW! A Million Bucks ..................... On Dec. 5, Derek Stevens walked in and told sportsbook director Tony Miller that he wanted to make a bet on Michigan State to win it all and to make sure that if he did win, he'd win $1 million. Although Stevens has been a regular customer, Miller's sportsbook doesn't accept bets that could cause such a colossal loss, so he called up his boss, Tilman Fertitta, who owns the Golden Nugget, to approve the bet. It was a relatively smooth conversation. The Spartans were at 50-1 to win it all at the time, So Miller accepted Stevens' $20,000 bet, never thinking he'd be sweating the possibility that the Spartans could pull it off. "In my nine years at this sportsbook, I never accepted a bet that could result in us paying $1 million," Miller said. "The most I've ever seen won here was a $100,000 parlay." Hotwater
I live in Kentucky. Where March madness lives up to its name. Shit gets wild here. It's a big deal. Me however.....I'm a transplant. I couldn't care less about college basketball. Go Broncos
