Man starved to death after benefit cut !!!

The barstewards in the DWP allowed this man to starve to death after they cut his benefit entitlement !!!

im no expert but if you die and then you only get found 8 months later, you're probably gonna look skinny.

 

Its called a post-mortem wherein the surgeon would discover the cause of death. In doing so they would examine the stomach contents !!!

 

yeah but the article makes a big deal of his weight when they found him. it's ridiculous. plus the article also said he had food in his cupboard. i don't care if it is tinned fish and the expire date they mention is questionable due to 8mths of being dead and they didn't bother going into those details that are actually quite necessary to establish a case here.

the way i see it, ya gotta eat. homeless have no money they still do what they can to eat. a man don't eat... ain't no willpower there. the one lousy photo of him, he don't look like the type to just give up like that. Friends and family don't notice you're about to fall over dead from starvation? Nobody bothers to check in after 8mths? Article says he was too shy to ask friends and family for help, so they're obviously a part of his life... and he wasn't homeless.

Whole story is garbage.

 

It sounds like it was due more to his mental illness rather than a lack of resources

it is obvious that his family gave up on him long ago.......also what I read in that story is that I can live at least 8 months rent free in England if you rent from the right council.......I may go see morrow

 

Bullshit !! his family Hadn't been to see him (see if he was ok etc ) For eight fucking months and they want to blame some office guy for his death !! They trying to claim 8 Months back benefit or summat ?
If they are looking for somebody to blame they should check out the guy looking at them when they wash their face in the morning !!
