The baby is doing good. Perfectly healthy, they named her Mia.
Apparently they found her in an apartment complex, so the mother likely lives in the apartment complex, is probably young too.
State is trying to take custody.

 

Aw, I'm glad to hear she's doing okay. And Mia is such a cute name. This is starting to sound like a sweet Disney movie. Well, except Mickey Mouse didn't find her and Goofy's not the doctor taking care of her.

 

I'm glad the baby is okay.

I'm sure the mother was probably young, as you said, and scared. But still, I couldn't even fathom doing something like that.
