"I mean he doesn't even look like the same person at all," Neysa Anderson, the victim's stepsister, said.

Police said the attack happened on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Pendleton Pines Apartments near Pendleton and Ketchum.

According to officers, Patton took a walk outside around 11 p.m. when two men he did not know came out of nowhere.

"Something along the lines of 'hey white boy what are you doing around here? You're not supposed to be here' or something and that was it," Anderson explained.

Anderson said Patton was knocked to the ground and severely beaten.

"It completely crushed his entire sinus cavity. Like his -- all the bones under his eyes, his face were all completely crushed," Anderson told WREG.

I am a spreader of information. This is what I do. You can shut your mind, it won't bother me, I promise.

 

I couldn't count the number of times I've been called "whiteboy", they are too numerous ... but that's pretty much exactly what I am. Yes I'm white, I'm very well aware of that.

Luckily it never came down to me getting brutalized. I'm usually able to outsmart them when they try to run to talk game on me (which usually pisses them off though, they hate it when I make them look dumb). A few I had to pull weapons on when they tried to rob me, that made them back up. A few i had to fuck up pretty good, again when they tried to rob me (some skinny ass crackhead comes to mind). Fortunately I've never been truly robbed. Most of them think they can intimidate me, they are scared of people that aren't afraid of them. Cowards!

 

They prefer the term "black man" among themselves .. whites are boys, blacks are men. According to some .. I just see people, some that I would desire to associate with, and some I would desire to avoid based on their ethics, ideology, and behavior rather than how they look. But it's worth noting when I refer to someone's appearance, I speak of their natural body (which no one has a choice over); how someone dresses I classify that as part of their *behavior*.

I remember having a nice talk with a young black gentleman about my age in Barnes and Noble, the topic was programming, specifically he was interested in game programming. He dressed and acted like a decent guy. But yes I will judge you if you look like a thug, no wonder you get profiled by cops, you look the part (of a criminal), when you intentionally present yourself as a criminal or gangbanger of course the cops are gonna notice. It's not "CUZ UR BLACK" .. it's because you dress and act like a criminal, and probably hang out in all the wrong areas, with the wrong people, doing the wrong things. The cops know damn well what those areas are and what goes on, they're not stupid.

I bet the nerdy black guy I met in the 96th St. B&N never has any problems with the cops, or being "profiled". It's worth noting that I have been profiled by the cops and I'm white. I'm an ex-hardcore-druggie. When you look like a hardcore druggie you get profiled by the cops. When you look like a computer programmer or scientist, or respectable individual, you can have nice conversations with police officers as with any other normal human being.

IRQ42 did not interject his own personal bias and commentary on the incident in a manner designed to insight racial tension in the discussion, IE: race-baiting, which is something you seem to do with EVERY TOPIC regardless whether race is even involved, you always try to turn it into some racial issue.
