Why are males born with nipples ? They don't produce anything & only when stimulated or when they get cold they get erect. What other purpose are we born with them. They do sort of get make us aroused when stroked / licked / pinched but that's all they seem to have any use for.
Men have nipples so that infants can be fed. No, I'm not repeating those cases of lactating males. The reason that humans have nipples is to feed infants. In women, that functionality is fully developed. In men, not. However, the nipples are formed by the embryo before sexual differentiation takes place, therefore both men and women have nipples, even though their functionality is expressed only in women. Its a misconception of evolution and Darwinism that all anatomical structures have a function. Stephen Gould discussed this in an essay entitled "Male Nipples and Clitoral Ripples" (originally titled "Clits and Tits" but edited by editors).
