there was a genre called trip hop that i am not sure how popular it still is nowadays but was basically supposed to be psychedelic hiphop, that was probably the 90s

on wikipedia it cites some dudes like kid cudi and mf doom as psychedelic hip hop, some others too probably

anyways just sayin, nice song

 

Cool, sounds a little like the Art of Noise and I could see Herbie Hancock taking it to another level. Feel the vibes, crank up the bass! You might try throwing in an accent as well, spice it up every way you can think of without bursting into flames!
