I think if a beer cans on your head hat would sell fake shoes to go barefoot would also sell.

It makes sense to me why you would want some. Some places are simply horrible to go barefoot, where people can be really hostile.

A lot of people are curious about how it would be like going barefoot and the feeling around it, but don't want to attract attention. I think these shoes would be great for people still worried about society. Maybe one-day incognito shoes will be a fashion trend. Masking tape bikinis were. These barefoot shoes are better than actually wearing shoes.

Maybe if you wore them on the subway in some dirty city people would be like WTF and laugh but in these beach areas I think just design and market them for the endless souvenir shops near the beaches.

Maybe call them sunburn protectors for top of feet or something. Incognito barefoot shoe sunburn protector I don't know have to keep thinking.

I think it depends on where you are going. If you are going down some really dirty streets, your soles will be black and it will make it harder to tell. I don't know. I've never made one, looks like a waste of money and shoes.

I don't see the benefit, i guess this is just nonsense. And it's not really barefoot, anyway. You know, barefoot means the foot is bare, not covered.

This is like you wear a dress and say actually i go naked, but for some reasons i put someting over so no one can realize it.

Barefoot isn't just about 'looking' barefoot. It's about the feeling you get from actually contacting the ground. The fact that it's better for your health. Having a bottomless shoe is a bit weird but it does not go against the main tenets of barefooting. People go barefoot not for the sake of going barefoot but because they have a reason for it.

Bottomless shoes can be useful if someone is hellbent into going to some place where shoes are required, but this means that you're breaking some rules there (not that i care much anyway) and if you get busted you don't just get kicked, but kicked in laughter because it looks so... cartoonish.

Bottomless shoes may be a way for the most foot-shy among us, but again, if one is so shy in the first place, imagine the embarrassment in case people notices. this is an even worse scenario for those who hate attracting attention on themselves.

This said, at the end of the day everyone must be free to do his own thing. That's just my take about this stuff.

You don't need to tell me about the healthy and sensual benefits if barefooting. I just don't like these "barefoot-hide-shoes", i think they are pretty strange. If someone likes to run around with them, why not? I wouldn't.

really barefooting is about whatever the person going barefoot feels it's about. for you, it's the feeling of contacting the ground and the health benefits. for some people, it's about making their feet dirty. for some people, it's a sexual thing. for me, it's because it feels nice to let my feet breathe, and it saves me from having to worry about shoes all the time.

so for me personally, these weird shoes would serve no purpose. for some people, they would.
