I was thinking last time of a way to make codeine syrup. I have Tylenol's 4 which have 60mg of codeine in every pop. I'm planning on making the syrup first by boiling hot water for about 4 minutes and then pouring sugar and stiring it for another 4 minutes until I end up with a clear looking syrup. After this process is done, I'm planning to do CWE ( Cold Water Extraction ) on the Tylenol 4s and plan on mixing the codeine with the syrup. I plan on using 25 Tylenol 4s for this which will equal the amount of 1500mg codeine in the bottle of syrup. What do you guys think? I find it easier than having to be careful with acetaminophen or crushing the pills and swallowing them.
