Just looked at this forum...and your lyrics are great. I will gladly support this in any way that's needed like spreading the message through my school. Peace and Good Luck
So hey hows it going with the rest of the members? what about that guy from your school? will he join in? well i see we got support now!!! thanks to everyone thats supporting this new revolution, we need that positive energy. Thank you guys!!!
Thank you for deleting my comment and leading people into a delusion without putting second thought to actions that wont work, much as they havn't before. the 60s were a glimpse of what could be possible, not what was perfect-- we can progress and build, design a new progressive era, but not by going backward.
How open-minded your are!!! (sarcastical...) She's doesn't deserve to be insulted because she expressed her opinion. If we're to create a ''revolution'', it can't be a simple copy paste of the 60's, with the same mistakes....
go for it! anything i can do to help? i've always been the crazy little protester, the first protest that i ever started was in the 4th grade..... the makeings of a true hippie POWER TO YOU PEACE
So hard to create so easy to condemn. Just keep it up woodstockchild, im with you 100% you know that. Ill face whatever the consequences are!!! After all im not afraid of trying to change the world. PEACE & LOVE EVERYONE!!!!
woodstockchild, man, i couldn't agree with you more. i've had many of the same ideas as you and i also play guitar and write some pretty nifty tunes about the world that i would like to see for all of us. since i don't believe that a complete copy of the 60's will be successful because the media has already seen it and may not pay much attention, we need to just add things. we have something the hippies and beats of the 50's and 60's didn't have -- THE INTERNET. although i do not like technology for the most part, i think we could use it to our advantage just like we are in this thread. it's on it's 37th fucking page. that's such good proof of how many people care about this movement. with this support there is no doubt that it could work. just needs good organization. PEACE man
Cynicism is the idea that there is always a better way. Be thankful for us pessimists, or else you could get away with having outdated and irrelavent ideas and you would make no progress, no change, at all.
if you need help trying to get your tunes on the computer i could help you out. i've got some of my songs on my computer. also you could do some google searching and find some other forums or help pages on how do upload your tunes. once you figure out how to do it there is no stopping you. power to the people
Give peace a chance.. We're all a little wretched-- make music that inspires.. Is this really coming from your heart?
in regard to the two other woodstocks that were more or less a failure, i think the music is what you could tell how the people are gonna act. when you have a band like metallica it's gonna get a little out of control it's just the effect different types of music have on you and the following of the band. the bands in the 60's that played were mostly happy things and even if some context of lyrics were dark, they weren't too scary or devilish. anyway i'm rambling hope you understand what im saying
Your hostility is depressing when you're preaching a message of peace. Knowing that you're not a perfect person, I forgive you for that and I'll look past it.. Organize your thoughts-- You want to make an album and have people enjoy the art and beauty of it? Fantastic. Don't like the radio? Don't listen to it. Go to music festivals? Get the word out?? Your message makes sense, but the heart behind it is growing faint, I feel.
