so no new woodstock?? it's impossible to organise a festival on a forum, i guess. in polen there is a "woodstock" held each year, free entrance and anti-drugs

 

There is an anti-drug Woodstock? Screw that! We need the real thing.

 

yeah i know, they say you're more of a benefit to the world when your sober than when your high or tripping. there is some truth in that, but stoned people are funny as hell. which is a benefit to the world as well

 

um, the benefit, i think is when you are enlighten to a broader more open world. When you see that things dont have to be as fixed as you thought they were. With that knowledge, you are then of much more of a benefit to the world when you are sober because you have a better knowledge of what could be, rather than what it is.

yeah i know, i have done some things i think they have played a big real in the proces of becoming the person am today. their are still beautifull people around there who don't do drugs and horrible people who do drugs.
do ypu both have experience wit drugs? mabey this isn't the right thread to ask but whatever...

 

Nope. I haven't gotten the chance to try it yet, but I think I will this summer. I get a week with a bunch of hippies away from civilization I'm very supportive of certain drugs being legalized (Weed, LSD, Shrooms and such) and believe that people can really understand the world better by doing them.

 

dont make any views on how beneficial drugs can be untill youve done them. weed isnt really very mind expanding. yea, you think up some crazy shit and make some real cool tunes, but unless you record youre thoughts and songs, youll forget them so i wouldnt say its beneficial.

Well, i do have experience with drugs. I smoke pot, which i think is neither here nor there-- I love it. But its something i do at the end of the day, or when i have a free day that i dont have to actually do too much. You can get some great ideas while you're stoned, but sometimes too much use can just dull you out. I have eaten a lot of mushrooms. Now that is something mind expanding. You see things differently. You realize the way things actually are...you see the meaning (or lack there of) of what people are saying to you...
As far as LSD goes, i am actually going to eat some tomorrow. i got some really good crystal window pane. I am excited. My reasoning for trying it is that a) i wanna know whats up and b) i want a more vivid spiritual experience with a greater realization and understanding of the world around me.
As far as other drugs go, i have tried some, and i have to say sometimes you get a really surprising result. Have you guys ever spent the night with a nitrous tank? You should. It sounds a little backwards, but i swear sometimes you unlock the keys to the world...only you really seem to forget what you learned!
As far as cocaine goes, it will make you really honest, and so sometimes its a good truth serum to get to the bottom of things...its like drinking a whole whole lot of coffee. Only not as tasty....

Drugs are drugs...this is the thing you want to remember. And i am not really in support of people trying them without really thinking about the consiquences. I never did anything (except smoke pot) until i was long moved out of my parents house. I think that was a good decision for me. And i think things through...maybe too much. But the thing about it is... too much is TOO MUCH. and sometimes its hard to see what is too much until you have done it. So you have to be careful and be with people you trust. You have to know who and what you are dealing with, and you have to have an understanding of yourself at least to a certain degree.

I understand why drugs are not legal. That doesnt make it easier to deal with, but if you are smart, and you do not get caught, then i guess you are responsible enough to handle yourself.

I dont know... but this is just my take on things

Horay for the new woodstock! Ill be there without a doubt, and it WILL be the best thing this generation has ever set eyes upon. You have alot of courage to actually stand up and do something, a few more people with boundless enthusiasm like yours and this world would be a better place, Sarah x

 

too bad all it is is enthusiasm. no one is standing up and doing anything

 

I'm working on it okay... as soon as I can get a band, that is when this thing can really get going.

 

sorry to burst your bubble but a high school band is not gonna be able to start a festival. plus people wont come from all over just to hear a high school band play

 

But we'll get better and get out of high school and once we're adults we'll be really good!
