as a christian i think its important to wear make-up jesus teaches "be perfect as your father who is in heaven is perfect" and so by wearing make-up, we cover over our imperfections
I usually wear a litttttle bit of mascara, occasionally a bit of blush. That's about it. Too many women overdo it. I wear it to accentuate, not to hide anything...
it all depends on if i feel like it, though if i do wear makeup, its just eyeliner subtle shadow and mascara makes my eyes stand out more under my glasses also i will use a translucent powder to cut down on redness and shine
Yup, the funny thing is, that picture was from prom my junior year, it was the most make-up I've ever really worn besides in plays and when I played dress-up as a kid.
I never wear make-up. First of all, it's a pain in the ass to apply. Second of all, I don't think it looks good. Thirdly, there are plenty of other things I'd rather waste my money on. I dig the natural look, personally.
it only works well with creative use of cameras and lighting. up close and personal it always looks like crap. i mean yah, it might be part of getting dressed up if you're going to a diplomatic reception or something, but lets face it, the average janie housewife or granny just isn't a proffessional makeup artist. and the average adolescent looks waaaaaaaaaay better without it too. hell anyone between the ages of five and 30, if they don't have health problems or natural deformaties, looks better without anything on. and i DON'T mean that sexualy or just sexualy either. what would make people look better is if they could grow soft fluffy critter like fur all over their bodies and have pointy ears and tails. of course it might be fun to be able to chainge your makings at will. you could sort of be your own canvas that way. i think personal expression is good. as long as it actualy IS personal expression. but attempted immitation is just plane retarded. there is so much that no amount of make up can help and so much that it only makes worse that the whole cosmetics industry is more then anything else pretty much of a con game. =^^= .../\...
I usually wear some sort of foundation and mascara if I go out. More if it's a special occasion. I strive for the "natural" look w/o it being natural. You could say I'm a phony.
i wear make up and i like it. i do look completely different. so different that people who've hung out with me several times won't even recognize me. without makeup, i look like a pioneer woman. with makeup i look exquisite. it doesn't take much time. anymore than 10 minutes and i'm SOL. people are more respectful to me and more interested in conversation with me when i'm made up. however, i'm more outgoing and more myself without it on. it's a tool for me to use.
This woman didn't want to be, the forces, made her lift a sharp yet yield razor upon & slide the skin from off her face for it. She later feed the leather to her pets.
I like to wear it... it's fun putting it one sometimes... but i don't like to go all out... i hate the way foundation and all of that feel... I pretty much just wear eyeshadow, eyeline and mascara, nothing more then that or it really seems like over doing it. personally i really don't think that foundation looks all that good makes it look gross after a while when it's not even anymore and sweated off.
