I thought you said you didn't like the beatles?

I love that song, especially the one from Nov 3 1965 or whenever that was.

I never said I didn't like The Beatles...The Beatles were the greatest band in history. I said that Oasis, who i loathe, are trying to be like them, and it's annoying.

awesome evocation of an LSD trip.

    Grateful Dead-Eyes Of The World

And it's annoying that you think that, because Oasis haven't tried to be like The Beatles since 1998.

That's a great song, I love Keller Williams' covers of it.

The Grateful Dead ~ "Can't Come Down"

ooohhh..since 1998? well, they still tried to be like them, didn't they? It doesn't matter how long they've stopped posing, because they're still fucking posers.

    good song

    Buffalo Springfield-Rock And Woman

yep, you'd be the one to know about posing. ;)
I'll clear it up for you: Oasis never really tried to be like them, they claimed that they were better and (according to Liam) the beatles were shit compared to Oasis. the last time anything like that was said was after the Be Here Now tour collapsed.

You haven't even heard their latest album, which is one of the most musically-inventive albums of 2005. you should go take elementary music appreciation before posting anymore.

what the fuck have i told you, I don't listen to music made after 1979. If you can't get that through your thick skull, then maybe it's you who needs to go back to elementary, cause you seem to have understanding disabilities. Jackass.

I like Oasis, I don't care if they were posers or whatever. They have gotten more progressive, and I've heard some good music by them.

why? because i don't like the MTV generation and the hair bands of the 80's? or because by the 90's pretty much all of the good bands and artists from the "real" music era "1962-1979" were either gone or washed up? sorry, but that's your opinion. But i'll stick with my Bob Dylan and Beatles and you can keep your Oasis and Beck.

Not everything from the present should be grouped with the "MTV generation". You're just fucking ignorant about music. Period.

Hopefully you'll grow out of this phase.

He has a point about the 80's. There weren't any other bands than hair bands in that decade.
