Yeah, but what about great bands out of grunge like Nirvana and The Samshing Pumpkins. In the early 90's there was a bit of a revival to the pre-80's.

 

Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins were 2 bands out of millions of shitty bubblegum shit and hip-hop in the early 90's. But look at the late sixties and seventies. Good music overlapped shitty music in those decades when in the 80's and 90's, it was only about image and money.
