that's funny ...i heard it a few times... i heard that they are recording a new album... it's time

This is not pretentious music...it's simple ...and those man are not climbin' upon their egos...

I heard just a few minutes back a typical commercial "look at me (i'm so beautiful)" video... it was a girl named Christina Milian (i think) on MTV... and that's the pure opposite of Tenacious D...
Millian and 80 % of MTV is pretentious and they've got an explosive ego... it's a sad time...

Sooner or Later The Tenacious D will be back to wash all that shit !

Very close to be a classic and often considered as their best album (they recorded 8 lp's between 66 and 72)
If you like psychedelic pop ...this is the band to discover ...with beautiful and fresh harmonies...
The frontsleeve is great too
The Association are not comin' from nowhere ...they were popular in the US from 65 to 70... but as many others great acts they're forgotten by young listeners who just search the impressive acts (jimi hend. as exemple)
