Magic trip

The movie about Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters back in 1964. Ken Kesey wrote the book "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest". Kesey made the movie, but never finished it. It's about a bunch of people that took part in the government LSD testing, done at Sanford University, and then they took a bus from California to the Worlds Fair in NYC, tripping on on acid the whole way. Then they hook up with, Alan Ginsburg, Timothy Leary Ram Das and Jack Kerouac in New York. Then they drive back to California and hook up with Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. The name of the bus was "Further".
Man, what a trip down memory lane!

Never watched it. Will have to look for it in the used DVD store, assuming it is on disc.

 

In the independent film section, on DVD at the video rental store, or NETFLIX.

 

if this is on instant netflix, i'll have to check it out.
