My bet is that Zuma's going to arrive piggy backing 13 hookers.. and Obama's going to abseil out of a chinook into the centre of the stadium after 3 platoons of Navy SEALs.

well of course, obama has shown up, and shook hands with raul castro even. of course he made a long speach too. trying not to be too obvious that he would like to have sanatized the great mans memory, and america's own morally questionable role, which he did try to sanatize, in that history.

today, tuesday, december 10th, democracy now echoed five of the major speakers commemorating him.

to answer the question of who would show up and what would some of them say.

Yeah, it was a pretty good speech though, I'll give him that... but saturated with hypocrisy.

It will be interesting to see what happens globally, I want to believe that it won't just blow over and something actually sticks. Although I've no doubt the world leaders will carry on regardless..

The sign interpreter was just making things up! He didn't know any sign language at all, nobody knows who he is, and he stood right next to pretty much every world leader there.

Apparently he was saying shit like "fog donkey's" and "prawns", and complete fuckin' nonsense.


AND Desmond Tutu's house got burgled while he was at the memorial! That's kinda sad, but hey, people gotta eat.
