Made it through surgery

Made it through surgery I am in some pain my stomach is really nauseous and tore up I have a tube up my nose and a catheter I hope all that stuff can come out soon don’t know how long I’ll be in the hospital I have a little bit of the start of rattling in my chest I hope it doesn’t turn into pneumonia

Thanks guys my mom said I was so stoned I would fall asleep then wake up flipping I guess I video chatted with my sister I told her too give her dog Woodson a big kiss from me lol

I need this tube out of my nose it’s terrible

 

Leave the tube exactly where it is Jenn darlin' - its helping you to breathe and is delivering Oxygen to your lungs, which will help destroy any pneumonia you may have. The Doctors and nurses will remove it in due course when they think you're ready. As to exercise, take things very gently - don't try to run before you can walk. However now you're out of the theatre and seemingly on the mend - GET WELL SOON !!!

Tube finally out way in the back of my throat up my nose it was making me gag and want to throw up but it’s out now doctor said I am doing really good I keep improving like he thinks I am I might get to go home tomorrow

I broke down and took a pain pill They gave me oxycodone lowest dosage

 

So sorry to hear that Jennifer, and I hope that the dosage they gave you has helped a lot.

Ok, don't beat yourself up over it Jenn darlin' - its just one little pill. You might need more once you're home, but Please don't go overdoing things once you are home - everything will take 3 - 4 times longer to accomplish for a while.

Its fabulous news that the Doctors might let you home today though !!! STAY WELL !!!

 

oxycodone did not help the pain it drug me up and freaked me out

 

They gave me Tylenol through my IV and that really helps and I’ve been putting ice packs on my incisions
