ive known this song for many many years. i cant remember where i first head it, but it was realy nice- i DL it and kept it. recently heard it again. i havent even seen GOW comercial tbh XD
while I do like gary jules, I think it is important to give credit where credit is do. gary jules did the version for darko and what not. But the song was written and first achieved success by a british band called tears for fears which would make the song circa mid 1980s. I'm not sure of exactly when they created it.

they play it on the local radio station....kbco 97.3 where the bco stands for boulder colorado...all of the time. I just heard it the other day. I personally like their version but it is completelly different than jules'.

I don't think I've ever seen another song used in a movie that fit the scene so well. It sent chills down my spine the first time I saw it.
