Well, again, it was a prescreening, so it's not like they chose the movie based on previews, just happened upon free tickets somewhere. Definitely one of the best comedies the decade.

I was thinking this was going to be a lot like Planet Terror in the visual sense. I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't. Other than that, I quite enjoyed this flick. Cheech Marin automatically raises the tone of any movie he's in...just by being in it.
Finally saw Machete the other day. I streamed it from one of those movie websites... but I liked it so much I went out and bought it on Blu-Ray after it was over. And let me tell you it looks great on my 72' tv! =D Best action flick I've seen in a LONG time!
Nice Trailer ,The movie's an unexpected end-of-summer tonic: a trash guilty pleasure with a healthy (if really violent) sense of outrage. It's also Rodriguez's freest movie yet, and possibly his best.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo I'm grabbing 2 Tecates (I can't afford decent Tequilla) and watching it again. I figure if everybody is Irish on St. Patricks Day then Everybody is Mexican on Cinco De Mayo. Stay Brown, Rev J
