Haha. Good call on there being only ONE good rapper in the history of hip hop music.
Sure, you've got to wade through a lot, and I mean a lot, of bullshit (Including Mac Dre) to find anything good. But there's some incredibly talented MC's out there and a ton of great hip-hop if you know where to look.

Try Blue Scholars or Common Market for some heady and inspired hip-hop. These guys pretty much made the Seattle hip-hop scene what it is today.

(RA Scion is undoubtedly one of my favorite MCs around today. He's a genius.)

Nominated for one of the dumbest posts about rap, yet.
Up there with all of CC's posts about rap too

Common, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B. (Bobby Ray), Charles Hamilton, Blu, Saigon, Skyzoo, Murs, Mickey Factz, Sage Francis, Apathy, Mac Lethal, Atmosphere, J Dilla (okay he raps about bitches and money, but he's legendary), Black Thought (The Roots), A Tribe Called Quest, Group Home (Guru), Frank n Dank (hit or miss on songs), Pharaohe Monch, MF Doom, MF Grimm, Madlib ... soooo much more that isn't about "guns, bitchez and $$" so stop talking this bullshit when you dont even know

Mac Dre is retarded though, for real. He got killed in Kansas City ... cause we don't put up with punk bitches :p

Nah, but supposedly Fat Tone (a Kansas City rapper) claimed he shot Mac Dre and ended up getting killed in Las Vegas by Mac Dre's crew. But apparently Fat Tone really wasn't the killer so there was a bunch of hostility goin back and forth.

Pretty much. They both sucked ass and I'm glad they are dead, because that's prolly the only way they'd have stopped making music

Purp yet again speaks the truth

And yes Mac Dre is straight shit, Immortal Tech is alright but only his old shit, I used to really like him but he stopped coming out with new exciting material, in fact I would say he honestly became boring to listen to because I had heard the same things from him throughout all of his other albums.

    x2

He's good, but he's too self-absorbed with "not selling out"
Just because you sign to a label does not mean you're selling out. There are plenty of independent labels out there that are great for every type of rapper.

I'm just tired of hearing the same song by him about how he's the best ever cause he's never signed or because he doesn't do this blah blah blah.

Focus your talent on some other topic than yourself, man.
