the frontsleeve of rainbow rising is a pure classic... it looks like an hard rock sleeve but with psychedelic influences too... as the album...

And yes i know Holdy Diver... it's the first album of the Dio band ...my little bro like it just for a few songs ...and i feel the same i like too just 2-3 great songs in it... but sadly this album was recorded in 1983 ... it's very difficult to record a good hard rock album in those years...
Holy Diver is special ...he had some good old influences ...it still sound like when Dio was in sabbath a few years back but there's a bad new influence too of a new hard rock direction who for me lack of soul... but Holy Diver is probably the best album by Dio ...and the frontsleeve is really great too... one of the best hard rock sleeve ever!
