i love skynyrd! i just went to a school talent show and the guitar club played the song and this ronnie chick sang sweet home alabama. damn, the guitar club was great, but ronnie isn't too good of a singer, so it was very good. peace & love.
I like what I've heard of them, only about ten songs really. They get a lot of bad press for apparently being Rednecks, and people actually ashamed to like them (if they're hippies), which is pathetic. You're listening to their music, not having a beer with them! Such a tragic story but they deserve a Hall of Fame spot for sure. Their singer (Rob van Zant?) must be close to the record-low height for a popualr lead singer. Has anyone seen the original Skynyrd? It looks the guitarists are stood on their amps. I heard the singer isolated the band and told them they aren't allowed back until they are a kick ass band. Is this correct? Is anyone familiar with how they originated? I heard
