^^^i can agree with what you said. i think you might have mis-interpreted what i was trying to say. my advice for for desos personally, i wasn't trying to say that it was the case for everyone. i was pretty much saying the last line of what you said - that his trips will be less mediocre after he has some personal growth.

and you just described the lightbulb going off when you were 14 on your first trip. just b/c you didn't know it then, doesn't mean it didn't happen. but don't get me wrong, i still get realizations from tripping, but i feel like the major, common themes revealed themselves to me somewhat early in my tripping career, which didn't start for me until i was 19, and didn't really take off until just a couple years ago when i was like 23

 

Perhaps it has something to do with where you're tripping.
I would imagine that being tripping in the same places would dim the experience.
