I don't think your not enlightened because you judge people. I think your not enlightened because you seem pretty fucking egotistical and arrogant. In fact, I would love to hear what Niranjan has to say on this matter since He/She (srry, don't remember) seems to know what he/she is talking about when it comes to enlightenement becasue, if I remember correctly, he/she has studied under someone who was ACTUALlLY Enlightened.

Does the fact that I have a mortgage on my own house in the city, make enough money in a management position to raise both of us, taught him to talk and just starting to read letters at 19 months old, say that I had my son too early and that I am not in a "good" position in my life to raise children? Who are you to judge when is too early for one to have a kid? Do you know this guy? Do you know the quality of life he has offered for his child?

You use the word enlightened when others might use the word closed-minded.

So now not only should people drink alcohol, they should only have feelings for those of opposite genders. To hell with one's own feelings, those are false.

Its not that he has his own little world that matters here, its that he's trying to assimilate others into buying into his own little world that seems to be the issue.

 

its cause you see, everyone is bought up differently and experiences things differently. he has strong views on aclhole, because of a reason. hes obiously seen things, and from his perspective, he's just trying to be a nice guy and warn people, so take his advice, respect it, but ultimatly make your own decision. theres no reason to fight it, or argue it. heh, maybe im more enlightend than some people on this thread, never thought of it till now.

Peter Popper, I don't think you should assume that everyone does not agree with what SOME of what 3xi says. I respect what he says, but when someone is boasting about being enlightened and how much better he is than people he doesnt even know it gets out of hand.

 

you are too young man,

you can put a roof over your childs head and put food in the belly, big deal - that does not mean that you would not have been better to wait until you were in a better position mentally.

when i said i was waiting till i was in a better position i did not mean the size of my paycheck.

i would rather raise my children in a mud hut and a good woman then with your mentality and single.

please dont get me wrong, you will probably do a fine job as a father. i was just trying to point out that you having a child at 21 does not make you more of an adult or any more grown up, it just means you had a kid too young.

Actually, It's not even what 3xi says. The fact that he INSISTS and seems to feel he must prove to all that he is enlightened should be a red flag.

 

but wait. maybe it does. maybe to be enlightend, means you have archieved perfection in your own state of mind, no matter how far it may be. whos to say what enlightenment is, it means somthing different for everyone. ok.
sure as hell i want to be enlighented then, to feel as iv i have archived perfection, feel like a god, the god of the universe inside your mind.
just the fact that you's all argue your point, and think your right, and somone else isnt, goes to show, ok. ffigure it out, i think you's are closed minded. stop, sit, and think of the bigger picture, the fuctioning of the mind, and that things and realities are differnt for everyone.
