you have no idea what you are talking about.

i know what the word means, obviously you do not.

    give it up.

you dont have anything good to say, you are so confused with life in general. the only points you ever make are you just repeating what someone else said.

if you were speaking from some sort of understanding of it yourself maybe i would have more respect for you. truth is you have no clue.

you keep saying that. but you never give reasons. you dont even understand it yourself.

truth is that we have already discovered why you dont think that i am enlightened. you mention it in the other thread. because i got here with a chemical.

i hope you keep taking lsd until you wind up in the psych ward. respect it for what it is or let it destroy your life!

No you dont undertand what the word means.
If you were enlightened, your petty emotions would not cloud your judgement and effect how you present yourself here. But, they do.

    Destroy my life?
Quite possibly, the dumbest thing you've said thus far.
Im not the person who believes that LSD is the answer to spiritual enlightenment, and I am not the person who brags online to a bunch of kids that I took LSD every weekend for 10 years.
So, not only are you enlightened, which would connect you to humanity and view all life as equal (which, you dont) you even think that you are somehow "cool" because of it. What a laugh.

Up until now I haven't really had an opinion, but if there is a single sentence which suggests very strongly that you are not enlightened, this is it.

    It's about love, brother.

    ^^ i'm in.

and 3xi, i happen to recall that you really didn't like it when Krsna or Metallideth "put words in your mouth" and "assumed shit" (which i never once witnessed but oh well). and yet, here you are, a single person, ASSUMING and "putting words into other peoples mouths" saying "it pisses people off to know that there are people like you in the world." and there are MANY more cases of you stating very similar comments. kudos to you and your EXTREME hypocrisy. sorry, i felt the need to point that out to you because you probably didn't notice your doing so since you dont seem to realise what you're saying most of the time.

now i'm sure you'll somehow think of something witty to come back at me with or try to disprove this fact that i've posted, but you said so yourself that you post to change minds, and you definately wont be changing my mind here, so you might as well not bother.

no hard feelings. i definately respect you, maybe a little less after what i've read on this thread, but i still do none the less and i look forward to your advice on these forums in different threads down the road.

i dont need to assume that it pisses people off to know that their are people like that in the world. i am one of them and i KNOW their are others... just because you dont agree does not mean that are not others besides you who would agree.

where do you people come up with this shit?

this thread is just gettin a li'll out of control, thats all.
but ultimatly i see enlightenment also as inner peace. but we are all human, and no matter how enlightened we think we are, we are human, we have emotions, we get angry. simple. somtimes we say things out of anger, or love, its the human condition. is someone who is "enlightened", suddenly sapose to feel no feelings? ha.

and i dont push my beleifs onto people. i just tell them how much crap theirs is.
to beleive in any religion, in my opinion is close minded. how you ask? thats how i see it. its like this, "its one thing to follow the crowd (society), and its another to be 'wise' enough to distiguish yourself from that same crowd,to have your own ideas, and beleive somthing not just because everyone else believes in it." - i quote myself.

see you religious freaks only belive in that crap, cause you were raised to belive it. and for you its hard to visualise or escape it, cause all your life you were forced to belive it.

see i belive, even i am wrong. and there is a god. than me not beleiving, is fine. becuase well thats the way i was made. and if there is a god, than he knows that. so i will go to heaven no matter what, hypotheticalally'.
because you see, why should i go to hell, simply because i was raised in a differnt environment, or had a differnt personality that meant i didnt worship a god. is just a matter of thinkin about everything on the bigger picture.

ok, but the way you worded it, to me, made it seem like you meant everyone so i guess i read it wrong. and i know that just because i dont agree doesnt mean that others besides me dont agree, but it is still assumption / "putting words into mouths" i.m.o. k bye, thanks for the reply.

and peter, we havent hit 1,000 yet, we cant stop!

Peter, nobody is asking you on this thread to think any differantly. Your belief is your belief, and I totaly respect your view, if for any reason because I used to have the same view.
But, again, dont jump to any conclusions and simply gather all religious people into one generalized group and rationalize your persepective on them because of some religions being fear and faith based. Not everybody who is devotee to God does so out of fear, or because they were raised that way.
For example, me. I was raised in a family that was Catholic, but really they werent because they didnt practice the religion. I was just told if your a bad person, you will go to hell. And that is the extent of my religious upbringing. However, there was a day when I was 18 years old that Krsna came to me. Wether anyone ere believs that or not I could care less. If you think it is impossible for God to consume us at any given moment and show us His wonderous and divine love, then that is closed minded. You dont have to be religious to accept the fact that some people have met God and connected with Him. Anyway, He came to me and from that moment on I became devotee to Krsna. I began reading the Bhagavad Gita and practicing the science of Bhakti Yoga. Nobody ever told me about Krsna before, He came to me and I went to Him lovingly with open arms and mind. And as Krsna said, we inherit the same level of spirituality that we gain in this life upon awakening into the materialization of our next life. So naturally, I was drawn to Krsna at a young age and through no other means but His own.
That is another reason that I find it funny that 3xi claims me to be a young soul, but that is my opinion and that mindset comes from believing in Samsara and Atma, Brhama and Vishnu, so of course Im not going to argue with him about it because he has his own spiritual path that he follows.
Look, Im not here trying to sway anyones opinion on religion, but I have a lifestyle that I feel I am just as free to talk about as anyone else here is. Thats all, but please dont make judgements and say that all religious people NEED God out of fear or to be part of a group of other people.
If anything, becoming a devotee to Krsna has seen me connecting to God by myself and being away from other followers more so than anything in my life. And the loss of ego to connect with the Oneness of humanity is FAR from being a brainwashed sheep Peter.

i fully understand what you mean, and where your coming from. im not one to disrespect any particular religion or specific beleifs. (i work at a asian restarant, and i was whisteling at night, and they get terrified and ask me to stop, cause it brings the bad spirits, but only at night - ofcourse i was completly respectful, but i cant help but think the crap some religions come up with)

its just that, you say when you found krsna. how did you know thats what it was? i tend to think you found that because of somthing specific in your life at the time, like maybe hearing about it. what im trying to say, is well, even if we decide to beleive in a god, than we still seem to pick a religion, i seem to think its just a man made story tale through the ages. i kinda beleive in a higher consciouness, but nothin has clicked in my mind about a specific religion. id rather discover it myself, than just beleive one of the many religions that are out there. essentially i think there is one "higher conscousnes", and all the religions are ultimatly all worshiping the same thing, the rest is just made up. and being devoted to somthing that you cant see, n all that, it just doesnt grab me. its a search for inner fullfilment. its a psychological thing that gives you mental power, and reason to wake up in the morning, hope when somone is sick, eternal life in heaven.
i dont know, but i figured out santa clause was not real in like grade 3, its just a thing that the brain rationalises when you grow up. same with religion, i tend to somwhat agree with the theory that religios freaks are somwhat psychotic. just cause you dont know what their thinking, there fucckin praying, and thinking about some god all day, its scary.
buts thats all just opinion, and everyones belife is right to themselves, and no one will persuade them otherwise.

    Exactly.
Even Krsna said that all the names we give God are valid and true. God is the same God, no matter how you think of Him and what you call Him. I dont think that God is a personal being in any way, God is existance, both natural and spiritual. Everything is not God, but God is everything, if that makes sense.
Krsna is a person who came and taught about how to get back to God, just like Buddha, just like Jesus, just like Don Cherry when he played his trumpet. There are many ways to realize God, but as long as we realize the core message of peace, love, and acceptance, then we found God. Simple as that. Krsna is just the person who taught that I choose to listen to, because what He said rings as true for me. And I dont mean in faith, I mean in literal terms of karma that i see acutalize and play out before me and through me on a daily basis.
But, like I said, even He said that God is God no matter how you appraoch the subject. :)
