LSD or mushrooms

The only actual study I'm aware of regarding street blotter since 2000 demonstrated that street LSD usually had more like 20-80mcg per tab.

I've always suspected that most modern psychonauts vastly overestimate that dosage on their tabs.

Read trip reports from people who had pure unadulterated and carefully measured lab-grade LSD back in the 50s...60mcg was apparently enough to knock more than one guy on his ass.

Of course there were people taking dosages of 500 or 1000mcg too (Kesey takes 1000mcg in Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test...sounds absolutely wild)

 

Thanks Raga... wish I could remember the source for that info I had earlier. I thought I had read it somewhere... But I also remember a conversation with some chem students in college. And they had cited the taking of 500 mcg doses during the 60's (as a 'heroic' dose.. if I may paraphrase Bill Hicks quoting Terrence McKenna... or I could be wrong there too... it is 2:30 AM here), where in the Nineties, tabs going around had about a fifth of the strength.

 

I think someday I would be willing to try a 500mcg+ dose...but set and setting would have to be 100% perfect.

 

mushys are more of a headfuck than acid. I'd go with acid.

 

the only psychedelic ive ever done is Acid, and after tripping many different environments (by myself, at parties, day, night) ive become more secure mentally while im tripping. although ive never done shrooms, ive heard they produce a body high, and you actually see colors and things that really arent there. unlike acid, when you see things move, and fractal patterns exploding out of everything. i'ts different for everyone, youd have to try them for yourself to gain your answer.
