Tripping is on acid is certainly more enjoyable than drinking.

my little brother has Auspergers; I would never want to give him LSD, ever. its my belief that an autistic person's mental state is very fragile which is suggested by their hindered acceptance of change. to give someone like that LSD, I believe, would be further deteriorating to their psyche simply because their idea of reality would be changed, but beyond their personal will. I dont assume that they will get the bicycle day dose or anything but even at threshold doses I would deny my brother the treatment. MDMA on the other hand I think could be more applicable at threshold doses. I mean look at someone thats done LSD to the point of being mentally ill, would it not be expected that the same affects could happen to someone who is already in a state other than "normal"?

    - Im fascinated by autism, but I find it as an attempt at evolution rather than an actual illness of some kind. the people who have the condition range from high functioning to almost vegetative, but theyre all cognitively functional (to my knowledge) and can apply what theyre taught. the social aspect is in response to an increasingly electronically based world where people skills are only necessary to the point of being able to type in a polite manner.

shit, I could go on forever, sorry for going off topic, if you wanna talk about this please message me

Me too Doc,,, I'd have to say looking at my history that I'd class myself as a semi-functional Auspergers patient,,, at least till I started dosing,,, kept 3 friends at best for the bulk of my childhood etc... But we're all entitled to our opinions of course.

Seems to me I read another review study some time back that claimed higher positive numbers. Regardless, pretty much sums it up. The criteria of a class 1 scheduled substance that it has no medical use clearly doesn't apply to LSD and that was known when it was banned. It's truly sad.
Some relevant quotes from the BBC story...
Question the wisdom of banning things like LSD and you get sacked.

Ya, I chuckled at that too.
Made it a little easier for his handlers to dismiss him, I bet.

Uhhmmm, what has one got to do with the other?
I've had enough experience with LSD to be able to see right through Fuckerburgs agenda and consciously choose not to support the fuckwad.

Maybe it is you my friend who needs a little eye opener especially if you think FB is so great.

I think like most things, it's what you make it,,, fill it with real personal info, link to the wrong sites, etc. SURE it can be bad, but as with any tool when used wisely, it can serve greater purpose than it's maker ever intended,,,

And trust me,, if you happen to be 20 (not to make time relevant in any way of course), I've spent your entire lifetime "opening my eyes".

True that, but I still won't support Facebook in any manner if for nothing else but the principle.

Hmm, I guess you don't recall who I was in a former HF incarnation.
We have had discussions a few times before.
I first "opened my eyes" with the help of good ol' Mary Jane in '74 and had my first date with Lucy way back in the fall of '77. It was love at first bite.. We have "dated" a couple of hundred times since.
If my math is correct, you were but a wee tot at the time. (not that age is relevant or anything)

p.s. Luv the sig pic, Walter is my hero.

Precisely. And while I can understand you feeling as such towards facebook, if you are concerned with them knowing anything about you then simply dont give them any relevant info, dont click on Advertisements, dont give any APP the permission to "post as you to your wall" (FFS who would do that?) and DONT get trapped in Farmville. lol

If you have a message, it's a good viable medium to express it.

And yea, Age is irrelevant for sure. 100's, low, mid high?
I can make you some headgear or some really good Pudding if you would like.

I do not believe autism has anything to do with evolving. personally i think it is something being done to them either thru vaccines or something else. I have nephew with Auspergers i have often wondered if any of the illegal drugs would help him. if his doctor wanted to try Lds i would want to do it with him although it has been years since i have taken any LSD I think it would be beter for him if he had someone doing it with him. I would never want him to do any street version of it. I would want to be sure it was pure and that someone was doing it with him.

I think MDAA would give him sensory over load which is already a problem for him.

i think that doing anything to treat autism with psychedelics outside of a controlled enviroment administered by doctors in a scientific study would be pretty foolish.

I think that people can help themselves......

It would heavily depend on the patient in question, and the situation/setting available....

I think it could be foolish for someone to attempt megadosing at home to treat a loved one for sure, but if by "doctor" or "scientific study" you mean someone who has firsthand experience in both cases on hand to supervise and try to help the patient through the experience and then check results of the degree of social interaction on even a simplistic level on more occasions than otherwise present temselves over the next 6 months to a year, then yes I agree.

Other than that I'd say thats a Luddites approach to the world to demand rigorous scientific study regarding something that Science hardly understands to begin with.and frankly we can now see the results of such thinking as it is threatening to consume the world around us as we type.

    :2thumbsup:
