^^ A little too good.... sounds suspicious. But if your willing to take the risk, it's essentially gambling double or nothing. That would be killer if it was legit.

sounds like shitty acid to me. LSD might give me a very subtle feeling in my stomach, but i wouldn't describe it as tight, knotty.

haha, that's a great way to put it.

if those are SSRI's (i think they might be) they will prevent the LSD from working. at best - you'll trip a little. at worst, it'll be a danger to your health. i'd stop taking that shit if i was you.

if it's good acid, one hit is plenty. i've dosed LSD several times, and the stuff i have now is a full on trip with just one.

that being said, most LSD out there nowadays is sorta weak.

a strip is 10 hits, so i doubt anyone is gonna sell that for just $20.

i don't think you should take acid yet. do more research. read some trip reports. maybe get out of high school first.

but if you do decide to do it...the first thing i often notice is that my legs start to feel like jelly. i might get a warm feeling in my stomach (so maybe i need a miracle is right).
next, you'll get a grin on your face that can't be removed. things will start to be funny for no reason. you might notice some color brightening or "breathing" effects. you might not get any visuals with a low dose, so don't expect to see any pink elephants. you won't even see that with a high dose.

you will know if it's working...

 

yeah man, to enforce what pork said. Sounds like a complete rip off. ONE hit should be 10 bucks, if your lucky 8. a strip, 10 hits. That's pretty pricey, so if you're getting that for $20 that would be cool, but seems unlikely... unless maybe the guys trying to get the stuff off his hands as soon as possible?

But yeah, even if you do buy it today, I'd agree with pork that you should research a bit more about it before you take it. You still have too many questions.

 

Just wanted to throw my 2c in, I have had one LSD trip (blue shivas) that made my stomach SO knotty that I had to EMERGENCY smoke cannabis. However, this was caused by the chugging of a large mcdonalds iced coffee mere minutes before dropping, so it was the combination of the two stomach-disturbing substances. That was a hellish comeup, won't make that mistake again lol.

Also, almost every LSD blotter I've ever eaten has had a distinct bitter taste. This has been covered so many times in this forum . . . if it's bitter, DONT THROW IT OUT. It doesn't mean it's not LSD! It's not like you have chemically extracted the molecule that is on the blotter and are tasting it, to find that it's bitter! Even that would not mean you have something other than LSD, just that your LSD might have a 1% impurity in it! Bitterness is likely just a cause of the fact that you are eating a piece of absorbent paper with ink, sweat, and god knows what else on it from being manhandled by 4 different middlemen who don't wash their hands.

Now, the flipside is, if it is very bitter, that is very likely not LSD. What is the difference between "bitter" and "very bitter"? Sadly it cannot be communicated through words, only through experience. I have the experience of eating bitter LSD hits and very bitter DOC hits, so I know the difference. If you've ever eaten something like MDMA raw, then that is a good baseline for "very bitter". The DOC hit tasted like a little piece of MDMA, very, very bitter. The LSD hits that I have, while having a bitter taste, are quite manageable. Basically if its MUCH too bitter to chew on for long, it's probably not LSD, but if it's just a little bitter, but doesn't make you want to spit it out instantly, it's likely just good blotter.

Also LMFAO @ "you probably won't get ripped off at school". I don't understand the logic there . . . OP is far, far more likely to get ripped off in high school by some punk selling him a "strip" for 20$ (lol, that's like 1969 prices, no way this high school kid has those connects).

Read around more, research more. You've never been high? You're in high school? Ehhhhh . . . not so sure this is for you, but you get to decide that, we only give advice here. LSD will feel electric on your tongue, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours to begin really feeling anything, depending on a lot of stuff. Also I know people on SSRIs and they find zero difference in taking LSD, it hits just as hard as before they were on it. Maybe slightly weaker, but the SSRI/psychedelics thing is something I have learned with experience is largely overblown. Often the effect is negligeable.

 

I don't think you are quite ready yet for LSD. You simply have to many questions that need to be answered first. Hell, I thought I was still too young to drop when I first took it in college when I was 19. Your mind will change drastically from year to year in HS and maybe taking acid is just the thing you need, but it could also be a major mental setback. I think of it as a gamble with favorable odds. Should I like set back behind a church and wait for a trip to start (Night) and try to meditate (think of nothing, be nothing, see nothing and so on...) will this be possible?

 

I'm not saying he's not ready so he should wait a couple of years. I just think OP does need to read a bit more about it, and maybe watch a documentary about it before he drops.

The first time I took LSD, I was 15 and just hung out with friends. As long as you have 10 hours or so that you can have to yourself, you'll be ok as long as you don't take a heroic dose for your first trip.

 

^^ Idk man, I needed a little more than 12... The after effects of LSD, not so much an effect, but you're in sooo much awe. I acted REAAALLY weird the next morning. I don't think my parents thought much of it, because I just told them I had a headache... Not that much of a lie either haha

then simply ease in with 1, and take another if you feel you can handle it. You'll survive no matter what, so just remember no matter how high up you get, you'll come back down to reality.

 

If by that you mean, take one and then take another a bit later "if you feel you can handle it", I'd say that's poor advice. Once you've come up, more won't do much if anything at all and is just a waste. LSD tolerance is extremely high and near close to immediate.

 

^^^yes! pick your dose, and stick to it. take more next trip if your initial dose was too weak.

 

Personally I've noticed that there seems to be about a 90 minute window in which taking more will have the desired effect, but bear in mind at 90 minutes in, the magic molecules are just really starting to get going . Beyond 2 hours and you may as well save it for another time.
At least that has been by experience.
