Anyone else here who does acid a decent amount, do you notice that it dries out your skin at all? In the past year or so I've had cracked skin around my fingertips a bit, due to the cold and working outside etc. It sometimes can be really sore! Takes forever to heal and still isn't properly healed yet, after almost a YEAR!

But whenever I Take acid I notice that the skin gets extra flakey, and sensitive where it's dried out!

    Anyone else get this?

I have never noticed but I live in a very dry part of the world anyway. Winter will murder your skin unless you go heavy on the lotion.

My guess would be that you just notice it more when you are tripping, as opposed to when you are not.

I thought that too, but there are times that before tripping I don't have any cuts, then during and afterwards they seem to open, become red/sore and flakey and very sensitive.

I'm planning to go to a doctor about it anyway, because no way should it be this bad. It's been dry in previous years, but for the past six months they seem to never heal long enough to stay healed. I play guitar/bass as well and that has almost been on hold for months now due to this! I play for 20 mins and the skin's all opening up at the tips!

But I can almost guarantee it'll become irritated each time I trip no matter how hard I try not to use them.

    Just something I noticed..

No. LSD does not dry out your skin.
After almost 70 years of lots of people using lots of LSD we would know by now if LSD caused dry skin.

See a dermatologist, you have something else going on.

Maybe you've been taking nbome and the vasoconstriction is causing it.
