Well there is new research about the brain under the influence of LSD and other psychedelics, that seems to make perfect sense to me. Our brains run through an extremely complex system of patterned messages running back and forth through billions of neurons. These patterns formulate everything that makes our minds funtional human minds. If we were to be able to figure out these patterns in the brain mathematically then it is thought to be of great potential for better understanding the functions of the brain. Well during a psychedelic trip our minds are running on a different mind setting, or program. And the mathematics that measure the wiring of the brain while tripping are just now starting to be figured out by scientist. Idk it has something to do with the fibonacci sequence and a few other things. But now they have the ability to figure out the mappings of the brain much better.
