LSD along with Death/Black Metal

Thats kind of what I thought, but because of the vocals and almost creepy atmospheres I thought it would give me a "bad" trip.

 

I've listened to The Key to the Gate of Apocalypses by Mistigo Varggoth Darkestra in a dark, cold camp in the woods. It was amazing. I listen to a lot of metal when tripping.

Sadus are amazing while tripping, notably "Black" has a wicked intro. Every time I hear it I now think of a time driving down an old fire road way back in the woods in the middle of the night, and hearing the intense-as-fuck intro to that song and being creeped out a bit. Enjoyed the hell out of it though.

I tend to stick to funkier sounds during trips though. Infectious Grooves are always wicked, as is Primus, and Cypress Hill. Old school stuff like Steppenwolf, The Allman bro's, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin always kicks ass.

Can't forget Sleep either, slow, heavy as fuck riffing that has really no equal. Although most people prefer Dopethrone, I'd suggest Sleep's Holy Mountain.

 

fuck yea i saw a dimmu borgir video while trippin and it was awesome, i could swear they wanted my soul, i think they said that and were looking right at me, very cool. ive always wanted to go to a black metal show trippin but my friend thinks thats crazy.
