Lady in Phoenix put eight 3 day old puppies in a sack and THREW THEM IN A DUMPSTER!! Fortunately for the little guys, a bystander saw her do it, rescued them and called the cops. How--HOW could any human be so fucking cruel?? I hope its prison for her. Edit=7 puppies.
Our daughter and us have both adopted dogs rescued from Romania. It took a few weeks of them trying to escape, but it was worth it, just to see their reaction now that they have realized that they are with humans who they can really trust.. Over the holiday, they met each other for the first time in the UK and it seemed like old friends being reunited. Our cat was a bit apprehensive at first, but he soon joined in the fun and all 3 of them were rolling on the lawn together. How people can treat animals badly defies belief to me.
People like that shouldn't be allowed to breathe. We have rescued 2 Golden Retrievers and a French Bulldog in last 5 years. Absolutely wonderful creatures.
Oh, a woman is cruel to animals.. she should be locked up and not allowed to breathe. Way to lead by example.
I heard of people doing that back when I was a kid.that was throwing the sack in a slough though. Thought it was wrong back then too. Completely thoughtless. I don't know what's wrong with some people.
Oh, and thrown in a dumpster. For the record, everyone, you can be horrified by cruelty without wanting to inflict cruelty on others, even the perpetrators of cruelty.
Yeah, I am far from the most sensitive guy on the planet But I dont eat veal or lamb, thats baby sheep, baby cows, so mean
this actually makes a very pertinent point, that of cultural perceptions. that the topic of this thread happened displeases me and my own values, as much as the op's, if perhaps for not entirely identical reasons, and yet people praise the glories of historical conquests, neglecting the fine detail that people died, bloodily and painfully and in large numbers in the process. real people who were someone's parent, child, spouse, lover, and their own experience of living and dying. and cultures, growing, maturing, and with possibly much to teach and learn from, lost in the process as well.
any meat is a life ended, but worse is to kill something that isn't trying to kill you that you don't intend to eat. eating what you kill is a part of nature, but feed lots and cage bred poultry are an abomination. how anyone can fail to call 'trophy hunting' evil, is beyond me.
No. There are gradations in cruelty in farming. Even in factory farming. But one obvious difference between throwing baby animals in a dumpster because you don't have any use for it and/or out of a lack of responsibility and slaying a fat lamb or veil for consumption, is that the latter has a meaningful purpose. I don't buy it either, but do sometimes eat when served. I don't think its mean by definition, but often a shame/pity. I rather eat a chewy old sheep or cow that had a good and normal length life.
Im reminded of Hitchikers guide when you say that. Ans what if you were the lamb? I think this is one of those times ypu just want VG to be wrong, regardless of the argument Skip to 1:30
Cats. Cats especially. Anyone that thinks their precious little kitty loves them: If they were all 10 times our size, we'd all be their lunch. Anyone
The lowest of the low? Boy Scouts of America accused of rampant sexual abuse of young boys Rumors about rampant abuse within the Scouts have been circulating for quite some time, but recently revealed court documents show that the problem is far more widespread than anyone could have imagined. According to reports, Boy Scout sex abuse has been going on for many decades, and has been covered up for just as long. Court documents show that Scout leaders have been accused of pedophilia and sex abuse since the 1940s. To make matters worse, it appears the organization has been long aware of these unconscionable acts, but has done nothing about it.
