Low Tolerance

I'm not sure how to answer this one. I always seem to be high soonest, and be the most fucked up, but I think part of it is the difference in my 2 main smoking-buddies techniques and mine. They dont inhale as much or as hard as I do... and they get rid of it sooner than me. I also tend to feel the high more than them. I really get into the highness... i feel the music and get totally wacked out by all the stuff around me. So perhaps it's not really about tolerance, but rather what all you put into the experience?

 

maybe, but tolerance definetley has something to do with it, when i visited friends in VA we passed a bowl between 6 people and i was high as shit and they werent feeling anything yet. why? because i had only had an 8th in the last 3 1/2 months while they toked up every day.

 

yeah, I noticed that I would smoke my typical bowl and say "i'm not high, i'll have another" and then a little while later I'd be sitting in class and it'd hit me that i was baked outta my mind. Thats why I decided to smoke less often. I'm still smoking the same amount now when I do, but it gets my notice quicker. I have to say though... that time i was in English class and my high hit me mid-test? that was a neat one!

 

last year was so fun, couple bowls int he woods with friends then taking a nice nap during english, waking up and being suave and funny for hte hot girls in algebra, and then a nice come down snooze in history.

 

dude that was the craziest high i've ever had. i smoked 3 bowls before my first hour because i didn't notice how high i was. I went to class and i had to make up a test while the rest of the class was watching this movie with weird voice overs. I didn't know the test material at all, and I was trying to come up with stuff. But everytime I'd try to think something up, the voices and weird noises on the movie would get really loud, and I kept thinking, "I'm going crazy man!" because I didn't think there were any voices in the movie. haha it was so great! i ended up getting a 12% on the test because i couldn't concentrate on a damn thing other than those voices. I thuoght it was god telling me to take his people to the promise land or something.

 

Hmm, I never really paid much attention to how much it takes to get me high. About less than 1/2 a blunt, don't smoke bowls. I smoke a whole blunt I'm good, but I love to get going.

 

yeah if i dont know test material i usually try to draw a really great picture and hope the teacher will appreciate the art nad mark me up a little bit. i remember a friend was failing spanish last year and he didnt know any of the final test answers and so he randomly fille din bubbles and got a 72 which passed him for the year.

 

thats great! hahahahah! too bad my english teacher is a nun!

 

Nuns are hot.... But yeah my tolerence is really low becasue I have been dry for a while...

oh man, i know my tolerance is wicked low right now. i haven't really smoked since last may, though i did share a joint up in montreal last time i went with some bartenders we met. but yea, i haven't really smoked up since may, so this spring break is gonna be fun. since i'm gonna be home, my sister is planning on getting a good amount of weed for when i get home. so yea, i pretty much get to be broken in again. shall be fun.

Repeat threads are going to happen anymore. There isnt enough things to talk about weed for every thread to be original. If a thread is old, who cares if its a repeat. Fresh answers, different responses. I know when I am wondering somthing, I search for it, then ask it anyway. I like answers directed towards me not someone else. Usually my question or post will be a tad different, that small difference creates different responses. There should be stickied threads about some things though just so they dont get repeated.

I use to have a very low tolerance. Anymore I smoke so often, I no longer do.

 

I do but I have a low tolerance for everything. I've been smoking for years and I still get like the first time a lot.

 

tolerance depends on lots of things, really.

personal disposition and the quality of weed, i think, are the two most considerable factors involved.

i however have noticed additional factors that may lead to lower tolerance to the effects of marijuana. i'm thinking in particular about tripping. psychedelics. i don't know if this applies to both shrooms and acid, or just acid, or who knows maybe mescaline and others too, i can't say for sure. but, it is my personal experience that after tripping my tolerance for weed as DECREASED significantly. particularly after acid, i think.

i smoke daily and only need a couple hits of some high-quality stuff and i'll be getting mild psychoactive trip-like visuals and strong body/mind thc effects. i blame the psychedelics. it's a good gift, i suppose, so i don't complain
