Unfortunately it's a universal background, taken from the old Random Thoughts. Hopefully all the individual backgrounds come back soon, but in the meantime, I'm glad to see one, it does make it feel a little more like home....

 

It's purple and swirly! Yay!

HOpefully...I must say, I really am missing Flyology

 

It's not really a new background, it's just the one from the old Random Thoughts forum. Hopefully the individual forum backgrounds are restored too. I don't think the old one was very BNP esque. I'm not a huge fan of flags by any stretch of the imagination, but we ran a competition to design the best background for the UK Forum a while back and eventually Skip decided on that one based on the origins of the CND movement in Britian. I thought it was fairly unique and I hope it comes back soon. But if it's not to your taste, we could always run a new competition to design a new background. If it works out better than the old one we could ask Skip to replace it with that when he has enough free time.

oh oh oh!! i do recall that i never recieved a prize for the last background?!?!?!!? was there one? as i do recall that some wonderful personage named nomy ness designed it-did she not??

Hahahahahaha you did? Bah, my memories not that bad I seem to remember it was actually an American who came onto our forum and made the background that won the competition....

 

i miss the flyologys also. my head has a migraine of sorts. ow.

Hehehehe no worries, this merge thread tool makes collecting duplicate postings very easy. Should also help people to navigate the forums too, so that they'll find it all in one thread....

 

I agree. Seemed like a nice way of reclaiming the British flag from the fascists. Bring it back!
