phone calls

 

always had the ringer turned off when i had one. cell or land line, i never loved having to have one. i'm annoyed that someone ran off with the last cell i had, and that more then half the housing anymore doesn't come with jacks for direct landline connections. i'm thankful for wi-fi but i'd really rather have the higher bandwidth of a direct connection. (never did get around to actually using the damd thing more then a couple of times, but it was handy to have the time, date and weather reports in my pocket.)

so anyway, if anyone REALLY needs or wants to get a hold of me, they can always e-mail my long strange impossible to remember but easy to right down e-mail addy.

having to have a cell phone (if you have or want to have a phone) because land lines have become an endangered species?

they were fun. i had a recorder that would record onto them. i wouldn't have had much use for them if i hadn't.
wouldn't have a whole lot of use for them now. (nothing to play or record them on)
cd's are a lot less hassle then any kind of magnetic recording surface,
even if you can't actually erase and rerecord over them.
psa's and commercials for radio stations used to come on them too.
my fust collection of recorded music as an adult was on them.

usb flash drives

 

have pretty much no use for them but I really love the idea.

new car smell

 

is ok, but considering the causes, probably not good for you. anyone who can afford a new car these days, i can think of a ton of things i'd rather do with the price of one.
(starting with a piece of land up in the hills and a beat up old truck to get me there)

spring water (NOT bottled water, but an actual spring, up in the hills, with water coming out of it)

 

we used to get it when i was a kid. it was good water, i dont remember it well enough to compare it to any water i have had since then though.

Boooring they should be a half hour long. Name all the class. Val dick torian speech. Toss your cap in the air. Call ambulance for chucky the idiot who took off his glasses and looked up while the pointy caps were flying through the air. Take some pics with the people not in need of medical attention. Go home.
