There's love among the wealthy There's love among the poor; There's love among the healthy And those close to death's door. You'll find it in the city You'll find it in the town; It isn't always pretty The way that it goes down. Yes, love is great--it does no harm No question about that. It pleasurably keeps us warm: Amo, amas, amat.
...... Nice thread Angelmama. And I couldn’t agree more! All You Need Is Love. ........ Love Is All Around Wet Wet Wet I feel it in my fingers I feel it in my toes The love that's all around me And so the feeling grows It's written on the wind It's everywhere I go So if you really love me Come on and let it show You know I love you, I always will My mind's made up by the way that I feel There's no beginning, there'll be no end 'Cause on my love you can depend I see your face before me As I lay on my bed I cannot get to thinking Of all the things you said You gave your promise to me and I gave mine to you I need someone beside me in everything I do Oh, yes I do You know I love you, I always will My mind's made up by the way that I feel There's no beginning, there'll be no end 'Cause on my love you can depend I got to keep it moving Ooh, it's written in the wind Oh everywhere I go, yeah, ooh yeah So if you really love me, love me Come on and let it show Come on and let it show Come on and let it Come on and let it Come on and let it show Come on and let it Come on and let it Come on and let it show Come on and let it show, baby Come on and let it show
Love reminds us that there is good in world. Never put off or be scared to the tell the person you love that you love them. Be brave.
Thanks for the additions, brother! I remember that song Love Is All Around being sung by The Troggs, of Wild Thing fame, back in the 60s!
Oh! Yes I do know that of course Angel. In fact that was the one I meant to post but was in a bit of a hurry at the time of posting so did Wham instead. Of course The Troggs one is better!
The original and best; just like Kellogg's Corn Flakes! How could I ever dream you wouldn't know that.
