Well, that's a hard thing to decide because I am in a relationship at the moment and it would be silly to just dump him because I might want to lose my V with an older man.


We are doing well together so far, so why break it off. Who know's, he may be the one I marry. It's too soon to tell. We've only been together about 6 months.

 

Wayyyyy to soon to tell. You are totally right, 6 months in it's more about infatuation and sex. It would be interesting to see how he responds if you held off on sex type stuff for a couple of days. You mentioned that lots of guys in their early 20's are more into sex than love. What do you think would happen? I know you would miss it, but it may tell you a lot by how he responds.

DON'T.

It's like with-holding food, or a place to sleep, or water. It's just WRONG to do it for these purposes. The only reason not to have sex is because you don't want to have sex. With-holding sex to "see how someone responds" is the main reason people cheat.

edit. Perhaps a bit harsh, and I intend no offense, but I've been on the wrong end of withheld sex and it was awful. The wounds are still fresh. Sorry if I went OTT.

 

My wife & I met in mid 1982 & married in November the following year. We have 2 family members male - 21 & daugther - 24. My wife was the first girl I went out with.
Some loose their virgnity just because they want to thru peer preasure & others like little hummingbird choose otherwise. At one time it was a religous belief to save your virginity for the right partner but now it's not always that way anymore. Would I have wanted to save my virginity till I got married - if it had been an woman I married - possibly not.

 

Well, I don't know what he would say if I out right refused. I mean there are times when we don't do things due to me having my period, and sometimes I'm not in the mood to pleasure him if I have really bad craps etc. He seems fine.

 

OH you've only been together 6 months? That's a super short amount of time in my humble opinion. I think it's probably healthy you guys haven't rushed into sexual intercourse.

 

Does your partner still ask for you to pleasure him (orally) even if you have your periods, or is he just ok for waiting till you have finished them?

 

Granted, as a guy, this really sucks. It actually ended up causing a breakup between me and an ex-gf I was engaged to. We were living together for about 4 years. To please our parents, we agreed to get married in the church. The priest told us that we should hold off on sex until we get married in about 3-4 months time. We tried it for about two months and it really sucked. However, it also made us realize that our relationship was based on sex only. Looking back, I am glad we broke up. It would have ended up in divorce.
Regardless, she was my first and I had lots of fun with her. We partied a lot later into it and even had 3somes and 4somes. I would hook up with her on and off until I met my ex-wife later.

 

^^ fair enough. Although why a priest would say to people who are already sexually intimate, "Stop that until you're married" is beyond me. Do they really think God is that easily fooled? I know the priests DO say that, it's just incomprehensible.

It has actually pushed me away from Christian religion even more. It is stupid to ask someone to stop for a few months. What would happen, I won't go to "hell" or something? Whatever..........

 

Sometimes it sucks that I can't have any pleasure, but other times I'm okay with it.
