As far as keeping up with needs, something called 'life' starts getting in the way as you get older. When I was in college, there was may more free time to hang out, lounge, etc and generally be in situations that allowed for more sexual activity. As you get older, you have more responsibilities, many people have kids to take care of, others work long hours because they worked their way up into management, etc and there is less time for sex.

You can still have it in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends
