I'm from Boston so all my friends back home have a good laugh at the name (wife is from La Puente). I'll be mailing them a tumbleweed pretty soon.
Ha! I too am a SoCal transplant from Boston. I grew up in NH but lived and worked in Boston for a number of years.
That’s too funny. I did the reverse. I grew up in Boston (Mattapan and Hyde Park) then moved to NH after my daughter was born. We lived in Nashua for 12 years. We came back to CA for my wife’s family about 3 1/2 years ago.
I was on the opposite side. Grew up in Hampstead and lived near Portsmouth for awhile. Moved out here about two years ago. Nothing like being a Celtics fan in LA
Yep. I was able to turn my wife into a Pats fan and a Red Sox fan, but she never gave up on her Lakers. I’m pretty sure she’d leave me for Tom Brady if she had the chance....
Never got into football or baseball. I guess baseball is okay live but I can't watch it on TV. But for me, it's the Celtics and to a lesser extent, the Bruins. But also the Kings believe it or not, but that's because of the Manchester Monarchs. I saw Jonathan Quick play when he was a nobody

The Palm Springs area/Coachella Valley/CA desert/Riverside county/Inland Empire region...we're entering the tourism season which lasts until the middle of April. I grew up here my whole life in Indio, now in Palm Desert.
