I have them, i reckon its from smokin too much green. Slightly worrying as they are getting more and more noticable!
wow.. a whole thread full of people who see them... you know, all this time i thought i was crazy because i'd tell people about seeing them, and they'd look at me like i was on drugs (even before i was on drugs) and all this time i thought it was just me, and i was some kind of weirdo -- wait wait, i am a weirdo, but that's not the reason why -- but now i'm not so much concerned with what they are now that i know im not the only one who sees them
You may be seeing floaters. They are small clumps of visible material within the vitreous. The material is floating within the vitreous and the retina sees them as shadows. Sometimes floaters occur because your eye is irritated, or because there are crystal-like deposits in the vitreous.
that is the most sensible answer i have herd so far. In regards to other suggestions, they are very weird, I dont smoke so i cant have those visions from that. And all the others, like parasitic worms and dead skin cells?!?!?! your eyelids have a task and that is to clear the eyes of all dirt and objects that land on the eye. If i had parasitic worms or dead skin cells on my eyeballs, i think id go crazy from the irritation it would case lol
its dust and bugs and skin cells. dont be daft....you're whole body is constantly infected with parasisites and infections and bacteria...ou are literally up to the eyeballs in infestations.... theyre not visions, theyre skin cells floaying aound on your eyes, relfeceting, light so that you can see them.
dust, floaters...don't make sense, because what I'm seeing seems luminous, not shadow-like. Maybe I'm seeing photons, I just found out the dark adapted eye can detect individual photons of light. Maybe they don't have to be dark adapted.
I get them too. I see them all the time and theyre black dots that float around and I can follow them but they dart off. I wanna know what theyre called and what theyre from.
I see it only outside and when there's a blue sky. It sort of swirls, like a big vortex or something, and the darker parts go in to the center. Like the rest of you, I'm very glad to know I'm not the only person who sees this! ~Nova
