Some other nice psychedelic rock albums: Can - Monster movie West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - Part one Farflung - 25,000 feet per second Liquid Sound Company - Exploring the psychedelic, their second album has it's highlights too, it's called Inside the acid temple. Emerson,Lake and Palmer Ten Years After Yes The Beatles Frank Zappa Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon)
grateful dead. phish. dave matthews. string cheese incident. beatles. listen to "a day in the life" (beatles) and "bug" (phish) while you're stoned and get completely lost in the music and you will start spinning into the music and spinning out of it and pretty soon the song is over and you feel spent that's how powerful it is yeah, those are my picks.
Dude Check out The band Stark Reality, they were a band in the 60's and 70's that arent that well known, I think they made one album but they were on acid the whole time recording it, i heard some of theyre shit, and id say its the most psycedelic thing ive heard... Even taking into account, Jimi hendrix, Pink floyd, Grateful dead, Byrds, Cream, Blind Faith, Beatles, Led Zepplin, velvet underground. Some of the Miles Davis Bitches Brew stuff kicks ass too... with John Mclaughlin from Mahavishnu orchestra..

Hmm, let me see.. Grateful Dead - I LOVE Nightfall of Diamonds, and Without a Net. Both really excellent CDs, of the Dead as they were best - live! Pretty rare, but have a look out for The Beat of The Earth - their self-titled (and, sadly, only) album is awesome. You can imagine they're all tripping majorly when they were recording sort of Velvet Underground meets Ravi Shankar. On that note, Velvet Underground are great too. Check out Venus in Furs, Heroin, etc. Steer clear of their later stuff though, the shite with Nico on it. Lou Reed or nothing! Jazz is also great. Miles Davis, Harry Koenig (Pink Light, Blue Light), and The Dave Brubeck Quartet. Have yourself a good trip!
