Looking for peace and harmony

    HEllo out there I am new to this forum but im hopeful I will meet and chat with some wonderful people who share the same dreams as I do. I cannot watch the news anymore because it is too depressing and irritating to hear about the horrific hanieous things going on around the world but also right here in my home state! (MAINE) I am a very open minded person who believes that there is good in everyone but we sometimes get so caught up in the worlds evil-ness that we forget about the beauty and harmony that once made up this world. chat with me or email me and lets start a chain of love and friendship that could change minds and lives for the better. I would love to travel to certain places also but may not be able to do so. :) :peace:

    hello and welcome!

    there are indeed some bad things in the world, but in addition to this, the news media likes to promote stories that get the biggest emotional reaction from people. these typically are crime related or very negative.

    it's good to take a break from the news for a while. there is also some value in having some awareness, but it sounds like for you in particular getting away from all of that may be the best path.

    on some forums here, people like to argue about random stuff. there will not always be peace and harmony on every thread.

    you may be able to find the community that you are looking for here though, and also connect to some other groups :sunny::peace:
