You could try a thrusting dildo to start off with. I have one which is great, it vibrates as well. I would like a machine but they are expensive, its better with a partner.
I've seen thrusting, vibrating ones with a suction cup. You could suction it to something, turn it on and sit down on it. One of my friends uses a non vibrating suction dildo that she puts on the shower wall and then backs her ass onto it. It's not too fat but it is long and that's what she loves.
I have been in the market for a machine as well. I have looked on line and they are expensive for a decent one. I build a manual machine from some left over project parts i had in the barn. It works okay, but i do want a Hismith someday.

The suction cup dildo is an option, but with a machine you can just lay there and take it for as long as you want with little to no effort.
I've seen the thrusting dildo and butt plug suggested. If you're looking for a machine, I assume you've seen some videos of fucking machines. If you have a stand mixer, you can always get an inexpensive length of PVC piping, a few swivel joints and a round plate to attach your favorite dildo to, and build your own fucking machine.
hismiths are AWESOME!!! We love ours! but I agree that a suction toy works amazing once you find the right one for you. My wife and I both love the realistic dual density silicon types, sure its a workout but it is the best kind of workout I can think of outside of my wife.
