Looking for a Community in or around Viroqua, WI

Hi Everyone,
There are two of us are looking for a new home. We are both experienced community members currently in Southern Wisconsin and looking for a community of like-minded people. We are open to locations in southern, or western Wisconsin. We have heard a lot of great things about Viroqua, WI and was hoping we could get some leads. We have already checked the FIC site, but not all communities advertise themselves.

Alternatively, we are open to purchase a couple of acres cheaply. We are looking to plant an organic garden and have a place to park our two campers to live in until we can build something. Any info is welcome.

I have no info, but am also VERY interested in anything in MN or WI... especially Viroqua as well, as I've heard great things about the area.

 

I'm going to drive up to Viroqua this week to see what we can learn and find. I'll post any useful info

 

ooh yay!! my sister and her family visited last summer and LOVED it!

 

Well, we just got back from driving up there. People say there are communities there, but nobody could give us any names, or where they might be located... except for Stone's Throw, because they advertise EVERYWHERE. However, they are much too close to town for us and I think they are still looking for more investors before they even break ground.

So, without having a destination, there is too much ground to cover to try and drive around hoping to stumble upon a community. We are left frustrated after today
