In our denial? Why does either need to signify denial? Who are you to say anyone is in denial? I do not possess the grandiose insight that enables me to discern whether one's hair length signifies concealment of one's true identity or character.

My hair reaches most of the way down my back. It is that way because I want it so. Most of my friends have so-called "decent haircuts"; I do not see their choice as being dishonest but more of a personal preference- which I can only respect.

Was there any particular point you wished to make with this rather contrived bit of controversy?

 

I just washed me long hair, now me long hair is in a ponytail... behold.

 

the answer is sheerly an opinion. im not trying to discover a truth or anything.

some people see long hair as a way to hide the ugly. hence the term long haired hippy freak.

another way to see it is shaving cutting and grooming being an unnatural means of changing the way we're "supposed" to look.

i wasnt getting angry or flipping out or anything. but goodness, the first 15 replies were about food orders or some crap, just a waste of time.

You assume that we read such things into others' grooming practices. You ordered us to either say that hair conceals ugliness or that short hair is a denial of our primate roots. You urged us to take a side.

A "side" is restaurant vernacular for a small portion of food, usually on a separate, smaller plate that accompanies a main entree. This hairy ape prefers a side of wild rice.

 

there aren't that many people that see it as ethier and just see it as a personal choice, I think most people think the options to be a bit daft
