Long Hair

Yea, I see, you know a lot about politics, don't you?
You go to Catholic School with the teachers - communists.

Since when do the catholics get on with communists?

And if you said that as a teasing; don't say that communists are bad, they're not good, but things like that aren't supposed to be teasings.
It's just like calling somebody 'a stupid Jew', and that's wrong.

I say communists, because isn't it written in the Communist Manifesto that everybody must try to be the same? No more or less or anything for anybody? That's exactly what they do at Catholic Schools. They try to subdue individuality, by making guys keep their hair short, and we wear uniforms... YUCK!!!

Simply, If society applied to the same rules that Catholic Schools use to treat it's students, but to a greater degree of punishment (of course much worse than detention), it would be considered Communism or Socialism.

I have 7 yr old twin sons and they have long hair.
They dont understand when people mistake them for girls. They list off all the men we know who have long hair, "and nobody mistakes them for a woman"
We were walking thru the mall, this salesman says, "How we doin' today, ladies?"
Well, J sez, "Just fine, m'amm, and you?"
I died a thousand deaths trying not to laugh the man out of the mall....teehee...too much...Of course, my son then says, :"Hey, why dont you use your brain before you go calling a boy a lady? I mean, are we dressed like ladies?"
I realized that he was really mad! I basically had to pull him away and remind him that he needed to take things in stride, and that the man did not mean to offend him..
That boy may get his hair cut, but his brother sez "Hey , dont let what other people think change who you are, besides, we are twins and we like our hair long"
Well, I love their hair, and it would kill me, but I have to choose my battles, so if they do want to cut it, and surely they will, I wont cry in front of them!
I know there was a time when a parent would want their son to keep their hair short....not this mama!

haha thats great! your son has such an open mind, i'm definitely teaching my children to have an open mind (well help them along and hope that they do have one) and i want my kids to have long hair!

 

hmm, not very many people do that where i'm from, but then again i think only two people have long hair...well, two dudes

 

I've grown my hair out sense about this time last summer and its pretty long. At the school I go to, which by the way is a Catholic school, they would try to talk me and otehrs into getting our hair cut, that didn't work. But now I'm going to high school, which is also a Catholic school, is mkaing me get mine cut or I'm suspended until it gets cut. The rule there is "No Hair On the Ears or Collar" which I believe to be complete and total bullshit.

if not, sue them for being sexists!!!!! ok, maybe its a stretch , but it'd be cool if ya won. then they'd have to make girls wear it short too!!! wait. no.. wait that's wrong..... ooops... i guess maybe they'd have to let you grow it if they let girls grow it...

oh im so lucky my ancetors weren't catholic. They came from Germany long ago and my family doesn't really think about religion , they just accept whatever their parents beleived.... luckily it wasnt catholic or else i wouldnt be able to wear any of my clothes to school.

man dress codes suck. i get in trouble with that a lot, even at a public school. hahaha my style doesn't go over well with them and they tend to use the word "inappropriate" a lot.... hahhaha good memories.... oh anyway sorry im gettin off subject here....

man i seriously dont think they have the right to tell you that ok maybe in a private school they can tell you shit like that but....it sucks anyway. sorry to those of you that gotta take that everyday....

Droooool.... long hair on guys is great. Brandon Boyd is a prime example. Anything from that length to Axl Rose length is great. That is, if its not permed of really curly.

 

in my catholic school they don't care how long your hair is.

 

I am looking at the dress code and it says:
Grooming: Boys and girls must have moderate haircuts and groomed at all times. Hair length for boys must be above the ears and eyebrows and off the collar. Ponytails for boys are not permitted. Hair color for both boys and girls must be natural; shaved (below 1/2 inch) and unusual haircuts are not allowed. Facial hair is permitted for junior and senior boys only and must be neat and well groomed. Sideburns may be no longer than the earlobe.

Well doesn't this just beat the shit out of ya'll? Can you define moderate for me?
